Tirta Gangga water palace served as the residence of the royal family. Literally, it means “water from the Ganges”, carries religious significance for Hindus. This temple is made up of many pools, fountains, stone carving works and gardens. You have once witnessed its beauty because it really is a wonder.
Tirtagangga is designed and built in 1948, this place is like a garden fairy and tourists can walk between fountains, swimming in a pool, or wander around the quiet and explore the beauty of thousands of colorful Koi fish.
The architecture and the sculpture in Tirta Gangga Water Palace brings a bold Asian beauty dignified, elegant. Each smallest components such as paving tiles, pots … are decorated with subtle textures.
To show his respect for nature, the earth and sky, the builders design the entire layout of the palace garden in harmony with nature. Works great though, splendid still not overwhelming green of the trees, sky and water.
The colorful Koi fish swimming freely in the lake is attraction in the garden of the palace. You can comfortably walk to the fish and take pictures at the unique path made of tile “floating” above the water.
